Gratitude is a life-changing practice

To be grateful goes beyond saying thank you; To be grateful is to realize the value of each thing, each moment, and each experience of your life. It is a state of joy and love.

Gratitude brings your attention to the present; start practicing gratitude by acknowledging the new day and the new experiences, relationships, and opportunities that your "here and now" brings. Stop for a moment and look around, really look and feel it; there is always something to be grateful for, the people around you, your furry friend, or your annoying friend or simply the fact that you are here now.


If, on the contrary, you are going through moments of loneliness, also be thankful for those experiences as they make you strong and since there is always a life lesson from them to us to learn.


Practice saying thank you sincerely for those demanding situations, and let's be grateful for the happy and challenging experiences that life brings us.


Practicing gratitude helps you focus on what you have instead of what you don't. By doing this, you will see how you start experiencing joy, and love, expressing compassion and understanding more others.


Gratitude makes you appreciate everything and everybody, and when you understand the importance of everything, everyone around you is less likely that you will take them for granted.
